Massage lubricants are specific for each practitioner's style and needs. If you used oil only during your schooling, then you are probably used to oil. However, many patients prefer to feel "cleaner" when they leave the office. If you have a shower for your patients, this would be the most ideal situation. We only use massage cream in our clinic after we did an exhaustive search, we found that Earthlite massage creme is the best for absorbability, glide and doesn't dry out on you. For those who want the ultimate in absorbability, then lotion is the best bet. However, watch out for those marathon massage sessions, because lotion won't cut it for you. Oil is the cheapest alternative of all of your lubricant options, if your budget only allows a small dollar figure for lubricants. Trust us on this note, you DON'T want to scrimp on this aspect of the decisions for your business. You will be using lubricants on every person you work on and this product is going to be absorbing in your skin for how ever many hours you decide to do bodywork.
